The purposes of this event are to provide opportunities for design students, designers and local organizations to share, exchange and create new movements in the Thai design scene.
The Bangkok International Gift Fair and the Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIG & BIH) are annual events. You could find product designs from manufacturers and wholesalers, and also fresh ideas from young designers who win the annual competition such as; product design competition, graphic design competition, furniture deign competition, and more.
The reason why I have named this event, because when I was a undergraduate student in Thailand I won this competition and my design was shown in this annual event.
Next time I will talk about my design which was shown in BIG&BIH 2005.

This kind of events are very essential for graphic designers like us. We need the contact with greater and well experienced designers to improve our knowledge and our point of view. Unfortunately, sometimes some events are overlaped with my class or work schedule and I can't participate in such events more.
