Information on the poster.

I have two posters to talk about the design and its information. The first one has a beautiful design and composition. The poster gives me some information about the event or competition. The headline or the name of the competition is really hard to read. I would like to know about your thoughts. Does the headline should able to be read easily? I would use the different typography but still give the same feeling and reduce the detail of small elements around the headline to make it more readable. However, the information of the competition is most important thing for designing a poster. This poster does not give me enough information. Moreover, I have to look up more information from the other places. However, if the designer put more details in this poster, it would makes the poster more complicated.

The second poster is the schedule of event. It has a clean, plain, and modern design. Obviously, the information on the poster I could not read. By the way, I really like the design of this poster because of two reasons. First, the designer designs the box as a decoration items on the poster. The black boxes do not compete with the overall design. Second, the bold letter of title, date and month is really standout. In addition, I assume that the information below is the information of the day above which is placed in the right position.

These are my thoughts about these posters. I really would like to know about your thought. Which way do you like to design the poster between complexity and simpleness.

Facebook site's redesign.

Last year, There were good news and bad news from the social networking site “Facebook”. The good news: there are more than 100 million users and viewers worldwide. The bad news: there are also 100 million users who hate the site’s redesign. Because of the new structure, the site’s visual clutter and the various sets of navigation tabs, the users claim that the designers take away the personality of their main page. However, the designers give the users an acceptable reason why they have redesigned the site. Facebook’s design is an update version, which has now become the digital design standard; soft, rounded corners and minimal clutter. No matter how beauty its look, Facebook is the most popular social networking site among many others.
